Four losses by one possession. The story of the 2018 Arizona State Sun Devils.

With offensive opportunities in the first half of Thursday night’s home game against Stanford, twice the Sun Devils were in scoring position, but turned the ball over and failed to put points on the board.

The early misfires played a big part in a hard luck 20-13 loss to the Cardinal.

Manny Wilkins scored his 15th career rushing touchdown in the 4th quarter to cut the gap to seven.

The Sun Devils had one last opportunity to tie the game, but game management on the final play left Arizona State with nothing to do except watch the final seconds tick off the clock. The Sun Devils travel to USC for their next game. A 12:30 p.m. kick on Saturday October, 27th.
