The Arizona Wildcats knew their non-conference would not be for the faint of heart. There were no cupcakes on the schedule as the program entered the second year of the Jeff Fisch era.

Arizona is on the other side of the non-conference schedule and are standing at 2-1 after a 31-28 win over North Dakota State. The Bison are not your typical FCS program and were favored to win this matchup heading into kickoff.

Quarterback Jayden de Laura threw for a touchdown and rushed for another, and running backs Jonah Coleman and Michael Wiley added a rushing score each.

The Wildcats now head on the road to kick off Pac-12 play against Cal, a team that was a tipped Hail Mary away from sending their game against Notre Dame to overtime earlier on Saturday.
