The Arizona Wildcats have had quite the in-state recruiting haul on Monday.
First, Salpointe defensive lineman Keona Wilhite made his pledge to the Wildcats. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound edge holds offers from Washington, BYU, UCLA, Nebraska, Oregon State and Colorado in addition to the Wildcats. According to MaxPreps, Wilhite notched 24 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks as a junior for the Lancers last year.

Then…the chaos happened.
Three Apollo Hawks were set to announce their commitments. Running back Adam Mohammed, lineman Michael Watkins and offensive lineman Michael Lado all pledged to the Wildcats.

Mohammed tallied 2,905 rushing yards and 54 touchdowns over two seasons at Apollo and chose Arizona over finalist Cal.
Lado held a top-3 of Arizona, Utah State and Colorado State. He lists himself at 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds. Watkins played as an interior offensive lineman and defensive lineman and stands at 6-foot-3, 289 pounds. His final three was Arizona, New Mexico State and Utah State.
Arizona prep players now account for five of the Wildcats’ 11 commits in this class so far.
