The Oregon Ducks took it to the Arizona Wildcats, winning 49-22.

The Wildcats were strolling on the opening possesion of the game, before a fumble in the red zone. Oregon scored on its second drive and never looked back.

The biggest issue all season for Jedd Fisch’s team has been yards allowed. That problem reared its head with Oregon totaling 580 yards, 306 of which were on the ground. The Ducks averaged 8.6 yards per play. The defense basically put no pressure on Bo Nix, recording zero sacks.

Fans of state 48 that stuck around did get a little treat. Former Mesquite star quarterback Ty Thompson saw action for two drives in the fourth quarter. One of his completions went to Kyler Kasper (his first career catch). If you remember correctly, Kasper should still be a Williams Field senior, but he opted to head to Eugene a year early.
