247Sports’ Evan Daniels is reporting Cornell graduate transfer Stone Gettings has verbally committed to the University of Arizona.
Gettings, a high school teammate of Parker Jackson-Cartwright, was also strongly considering Vanderbilt and Stanford.
Gettings stands at 6-foot-9 and 235 pounds and averaged 16.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest.
ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reports Gettings will take a redshirt this season, graduate this winter and then transfer to Arizona.
Cornell junior forward Stone Gettings will redshirt this year, graduate in December and transfer, source told ESPN. Averaged 16.7 points per game and 6.6 rebounds this past season.
