Anthony Robles Talks Coaching at Mesa, “Unstoppable” Movie, & Stunt Double Career

Devon Henry caught up with 2011 NCAA Wrestling Champion and Mesa Wrestling Head Coach, Anthony Robles, as the Jackrabbits battled in their final match of the regular season.

Robles is concluding his second season as head coach of his alma mater and talked about his 2023-24 season, his growth as a coach, and the importance of the staff alongside him. Plus, they dig into the upcoming movie based on his memoir, “Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion,” produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Artists Equity which features a cast including Jennifer Lopez, Don Cheadle, Michael Peña and Bobby Cannaval.

For many of the wrestling scenes, Robles served as the stunt double for his character, so you’ll be able to see the Arizona wrestling legend on the big screen soon!
