AJ Allmendinger Deprives Playoff Drivers of Victory in Emotional Win

The Round of 12 in the NASCAR Playoffs came to a close this Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL and Devon Henry was in the Queen City to take it all in!

Road course master, AJ Allmendinger, held off a slew of hard chargers in a handful of late-race cautions to earn his third career NASCAR Cup Series win. Allmendinger is not part of the playoffs and kept a handful of drivers from clinching a spot in the Round of 8 by swiping away the victory.

The NASCAR Playoffs begin the Round of 8 next weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where a driver can lock into the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway with a win.
