ASU Men’s Basketball Adds Tulsa Forward Bryant Selebangue

Bobby Hurley added some size to the roster on Monday, adding Tulsa transfer Bryant Selebangue. The 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward averaged 12 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the Golden Hurricane.

His 130 free throw attempts would have led the Sun Devils in that category last year. But Selebangue averaged 50% from the line.

Selegangue is originally from Quebec, just like former ASU star and current member of the Oklahoma City Thunder Luguentz Dort.

The Sun Devil front court will look very different from last year with Devan Cambridge heading to Oregon, Duke Brennan at GCU and Warren Washington in the transfer portal.

Seven-footer Shawn Phillips joins the team from LSU and was in a reserve role last year, and Zane Meeks comes from the University of San Francisco, who averaged 10.9 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Four-star power forward Akil Watson is also signed with the team.

Hurley said at the end of the season that he would like the bulk of the roster to be in place by May, and it seems he has a couple more spots left to fill before the season.
