Arizona State broke through the bubble and earned one of the last four spots in the NCAA tournament. The Sun Devils will play Nevada in the play-in round on Wednesday evening in Denver, Colorado.

Arizona State will be competing for a spot in the West Region.

Following their 78-59 point loss to the Arizona Wildcats in the Pac-12 Semi-Finals the fate of the Sun Devils was up in the air. However, ASU goes into the NCAA tournament with a solid 22-12 record while Nevada enters with a 22-10 record.

Bobby Hurley is no stranger to the NCAA Tournament as this will be his third visit in the last eight years. Four Pac-12 teams enter the tournament, along with rival Arizona Wildcats, UCLA and USC also earned spots in the Big Dance.

Two of the Sun Devils key players, Desmond Cambridge Jr. and Warren Washington will go head-to-head with their former team after transferring from Nevada last season.
