The work Kenny Dillingham and the new coaching staff at Arizona State has been able to do in just two months cannot be overstated. On Wednesday, the Sun Devils added another massive player to their recruiting class in quarterback Jaden Rashada.

Rashada, who had signed with Florida in the early signing period, requested his release from the program after not attending Florida’s spring semester.

On January 20, he was granted that release and quickly visited Arizona State, where his father played in the 90s.

Rashada posted the following on Twitter:

“Just want to keep this short and let it be known I’ll be attending Arizona State University, my childhood dream school, my fathers alma mater, a place where I’m happy and a school where the Head Coach has always had my back! Glad to be truly home!”

Dillingham, who recruited Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis and helped Oregon quarterback Bo Nix have the best year of his career, has done some major work to the ASU quarterback room. In addition to incumbent starter Trenton Bourguet and Rashada, the Sun Devils also added Jacob Conover (BYU) and Drew Pyne (Notre Dame) through the transfer portal.

In two years as a starter at Pittsburg High School (Calif.), Rashada threw for 5,275 yards, 59 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. He also rushed for 612 yards and eight touchdowns in those two years.
