The hits keep coming for Arizona State softball, and not in a good way. After dropping the Super Regional to Northwestern, the No. 8 seeded Sun Devils saw some major changes to the roster.

First, head coach Trisha Ford officially joined Texas A&M on June 7. Multiple players have entered the transfer portal since, including all four of the starting pitchers on the roster and Alynah Torres.

On Monday, Extra Innings Softball reported that Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and All-American Cydney Sanders has dented the portal. In her first season in Tempe, she hit .425 with 21 home runs – an ASU single season record – with 63 RBI.

The Sun Devils have yet to announce a replacement to any member of the coaching staff that has made the move from Tempe to College Station.
