Anthony Robles has accomplished so much in his life. He’s an NCAA wrestling champion, motivational speaker, high school coach, and more.
He’s now looking for a world-record in pull-ups. To break it, he’ll need to surpass 7,715 pull-ups in 24 hours. He’ll be doing them on May 25 as a fundraiser for the wrestling program at Mesa high school.
“It’s going to hurt,” Robles said while laughing. “We created a fundraiser called ‘pennies for pull-ups’ so basically peopke can support me and donate a penny for any pull-up they want to support me in.”
He already owns the world record for most pull-ups at one time with 62.
His record attempt will be streamed live on ESPN and Guiness World Records.
