Pac-12 Tourney Notebook – Kriisa Injury, Colorado Up Next For Wildcats

Arizona hasn’t had too many close calls this season. Thursday’s 84-80 rock fight victory over Stanford may be a growing moment for Tommy Lloyd’s team.  “We need those kind of games for what’s next for us” said Wildcats center Kristin Koloko after the victory.

Meantime the road for Arizona looks to have taken a tough break, er, sprain. Kerr Kriisa went down in a heap, pounding his fist in pain late in the victory over Stanford. Lloyd said after the game that it was a sprained ankle but didn’t elaborate or play the “what if” game.

Arizona will meet the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena here in Vegas. The Buffs eliminated Oregon on Thursday afternoon.
