Rams Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson Weighs in on Cardinals

The top two teams in the NFC West will meet for Monday Night Football on Dec. 13. The Cardinals will host the Rams at State Farm Stadium for their second matchup of the season.

The two teams faced off in Week 4 at SoFi Stadium where the Cardinals handed the Rams their first loss of the season. The first time the teams met it was an offensive battle but ultimately the Rams couldn’t slow down the Cardinals enough as they gave up 465 yards of total offense.

The Rams head to Arizona with an 8-4 record while the Cardinals sit at 10-2. One of the Cardinal’s losses came in Week 10 against the Panthers without star quarterback Kyler Murray. Now that Kyler Murray and Deandre Hopkins are both back in action, slowing down the high-powered  Cardinals offense will present another tall task for the Rams.

Sports360AZ’s Brad Cesmat caught up with Hall of Fame Rams Running Back Eric Dickerson, who currently broadcasts for the team.

“The team is playing good defense, Kyler Murray is playing great, their offense is playing great,” Dickerson said.

The Cardinals hold sole possession of first place in the division and sport the best record in the NFL.

“I’ve gotta give Arizona credit,” Dickerson said. “They’re playing the best football out of any NFC team.”

Dickerson knows the Rams haven’t lost a game in Arizona since 2014, so he isn’t ready to give the Cardinals all the credit.

“It’s going to be a tough game Monday night with the Rams,” Dickerson said. “I’m hoping my team can pull it out.”
