On September 9, sports gambling will be legal in Arizona. There’s no stopping this avalanche and what will be unleashed in that space throughout the NFL season and beyond.

Trey Wingo is getting in on the action, with a new title at Caesar’s. He’s now the Chief Trends Officer and Brand Ambassador for their sports betting platforms. A fancy title that took some time to come up with, but simply put, Wingo is their “why” guy.

“I’m the why or the why not guy,” Wingo said as he laughed. “That’s basically what I did for ESPN and NFL Live for 16 years… I’m not listing off lines I’m telling why you should or shouldn’t bet on something.”

As he prepares for the 2021-22 NFL season, Wingo believes the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the teams to beat. There’s numerous reasons for that popular notion.

“You have to do this ‘barring injury’ because that changes everything,” Wing said. “But if both of those teams are relatively healthy, I’m having a hard time figuring out why we’re not seeing Super Bowl LVI in L.A be exactly what we saw in Super Bowl LV in terms of the the two teams there.”
