For Arizona State, there are plenty of questions off the field, as well as on it. But Herm Edwards and everyone who is speaking so far are solely focused on playing come September. It’s hot outside, but the focus of this unit is hotter than ever.
In four games last season, the running backs stole the show. With Rachaad White and DeaMonte Trayanum taking a bulk of the carries and Daniyel Ngata more involved now, expectations are high. Like through the roof high.
They’re all calm and collective. According to running backs coach Shaun Agauno, the way the running backs carry themselves sets the precedent for the rest of this roster.
