Conversation With Doug Haller About ASU Football Allegations

Arizona Sports News online

Trouble is brewing in Tempe.

The NCAA is looking into potential recruiting violations committed by the Arizona State football coaching staff. The allegations against them include bringing high school prospects on official and unofficial on-campus visits during the dead period, which was extended due to the pandemic.

Doug Haller from The Athletic was the first to break the story. Later the same day, Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel broke loose more information that he received, including a dossier that was sent to ASU and the NCAA. It reportedly has receipts of multiple recruiting violations.

Today on The Brad Cesmat Show, Haller discusses what went into his reporting and what the next steps are for ASU and the NCAA. Brad also wrote about his thoughts here.

This is a developing story that will be updated in the coming day, weeks, and months.
