Saguaro’s Parker Brailsford Commits to Washington

Arizona Sports News online

The pipeline between Scottsdale and Seattle has been strong over recent years. Former Saguaro Sabercats Byron Murphy and Jacobe Covington traded the black and gold for the purple and gold of the Washington Huskies.

That bond became even stronger on Monday night when current Sabercat and offensive lineman Parker Brailsford committed to the Huskies.

I caught up with Brailsford last week after being offered by the Huskies, and he had this to say abut the program:

“Personally, I really liked the program. I really like the what they’re doing up there. They put a lot of guys in the league.”

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound interior offensive lineman holds offers from NAU, New Meico, USC, Michigan State, Colorado, Arizona, BYU, Colorado State, Oregon State, Boise State, Kansas State, San Diego State, Air Force, Washington State and Hawaii. The Huskies were able to land Brailsford’s commitment just six days after offering him.

This could be quite a class in Arizona for the Washington program. Brailsford has already committed, and Lance Holtzclaw, Anthony Lucas and Ben Morrison have all been offered by the Huskies.
