Saguaro’s Miles Crutchley Interested In Ivy League And Military Schools

Miles Crutchley, a rising senior and two-sport athlete at Saguaro High School is beginning to focus on two types of programs as his recruiting process continues.

“I’m getting recruited pretty hard by some of the military schools and then a lot of Ivy’s,” Crutchley said.

Columbia and Yale are just two of the Ivy League schools that he is considering and he has received an offer from Army West Point. In addition to football, Crutchley also plays first and third base for the Saguaro baseball team. Despite his busy schedule, Crutchley has honed in on the most important qualities his future school will hold.

“Just a coaching staff that really wants what I bring to the table,” Crutchley said. “I think academics will be a big thing and just a good campus and community.”

However, one of his most admirable qualities as a recruit is his work ethic in the classroom. Crutchley holds a 4.77 GPA and says academics will be an important factor in his college decision.

With one season left in his high school career, Crutchley says he will be focussing on improving his lateral quickness and speed.
