Skyline’s Zeke Branham Breaks Down Fresno State Commitment

Skyline’s Zeke Branham is one of the most versatile players in the state.

He played a little safety, a little outside linebacker, a little wide receiver and a little running back as a senior for the Coyotes. On Wednesday, he announced he’ll bring that versatility to Fresno State.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete tallied 71 tackles, three tackles for loss, a sack and an interception on the defensive side of the ball. On offense, he rushed for 503 yards and five scores and accumulated 246 yards and an additional touchdown through the air.

Branham had double-digit offers and a final five of Fresno State, Princeton, Army, Air Force and a preffered walk-on opportunity at Oregon.

Ultimately, Fresno State’s defensive system was very similar to Skyline’s and Branham feels he fits in perfectly in that defense. Additionally, Branham sports a 4.1 GPA and is excited to pursue a mechanical engineering degree at the university. Branham feels he already has the size for the next level and will continue to focus on explosiveness on the field as a defender.

Branham joins former Millennium quarterback Jalan Early as recent Fresno State commits.
