Hamilton’s Masunas Talks Physical Transformation, Recent Recruitment

Hamilton 2022 tight end Michael Masunas has experienced an offseason of change that past few months.

After spending two years with Sabino High School in Tucson, Masunas and his family moved to Chandler after a job change in the family and Michael enrolled at Hamilton. Since then, he’s been able to drop about 15 pounds and is looking to continue to slim down from his current 240-pound frame. The tight end is seeing more speed and endurance on the field.

The big target in the Husky offense is also seeing offers come his way. So far, NAU, New Mexico and Penn have offered and he’s heard from multiple Power 5 programs since September 1.

He caught up with the Recruiting Roundup to discuss his busy offseason, which programs are reaching out and where he hopes to improve this season.
