Hamilton’s Cole Martin Breaks Down Offseason, Recruitment

As a freshman, Hamilton defensive back Cole Martin saw the field early and he saw the field often, and he delivered.

The Husky tallied 38 tackles, five passes defended, an interception in 2019 and showed consistency throughout the year.

His play on the field was productive, as was his recruitment.

The class of 2023 defensive back currently holds offers from Florida Atlantic, Nevada, NAU, San Jose State, Texas, USC, Colorado, LSU, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Oregon, Kansas, Iowa State, Michigan State and Florida State.

Martin had this to say on his two most recent offers from Michigan State and Florida State:

“The FSU and MSU offer were huge offers that really were meaningful, MSU was really big because that is my father’s alma mater,” Martin said. “I’ve heard how great it is up there and how involved everyone is over there, I can’t wait to get up there. The FSU offer was big also, Coach Dillingham and I had a great conversation and it really put me off to the right start with FSU and their staff. I would love to continue to build a bond with the staff over there.”
