Former Mtn. Pointe, NAU WR Butler Lands in NFL

The journey for Emmanuel Butler is going to head from Flagstaff to New Orleans. Sunday afternoon the former Northern Arizona Lumberjack agreed to a free agent contract with the Saints.

Butler holds records at NAU for most receiving touchdowns(33) and yards(3,217).
Butler was projected to be a late round pick in the 2019 draft, but not being selected actually may turn out to be the best thing that could’ve happened for him. The Saints offense under head coach Sean Payton and future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees, should give Butler plenty of opportunities to show his stuff over the next four months leading up to the start of the 2019 regular season.
