ASU Offers Multiple 2022 In-State Targets

The Arizona State football coaching staff made it clear when they came in that they would be playing catchup in the 2018 and 2019 classes. They felt they could hold their own in 2020 and get a jump on future classes.

They did exactly that with the class of 2022.

Many of the top prospects in-state visited Tempe on Thursday and multiple palyers walked away with offers:

Gavin Broscious – Desert Edge – 6-3 280 pounds – first offer

Trent Ramsey – Higley – 6-4.5 – 250 pounds – first offer

Gavin Smith – Notre Dame Prep – ATH – 5-9, 170 pounds, first offer

Micah Lutu – Chandler – OG/DL – 6-0, 280 pounds – first offer

Devon Grubbs – Desert Vista – RB – 6-0 – 180 pounds – first offer
103 carries, 768 rushing yards, 13 touchdowns

Quaron Adams – Chandler – RB – 5-7 – 140 pounds – first offer

Aziya Jamison -American Leadership Academy Queen Creek – RB – 6-0 -185 pounds – first offer

Kyion Grayes – Chandler – ATH – 6-0 – 155 pounds – first offer

Tucker Wilburn – Arcadia – LB – 6-1 – 225 pounds – first offer

This is quite a statement by the ASU coaching staff, a program that had rarely offered incoming sophomores at such a high rate. The staff and Sun Devil faithful alike are hopeful getting in early on some of the top prospects can turn into commitments down the road.
