ASU interior defensive lineman Renell Wren saw a strong combine performance and that helped him land as a fourth round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 125th pick.

He was selected as a top combine performer by NextGen Stats

Wren notched a 118-inch vertical jump, 4.53 secondsin the short-shutle, 5.01 seconds in the 40-yard dash and a 7.65 time on the 3-cone. He benched 225 pounds 30 times as well and measured out to just under 6-foot5 and 318 pounds.

While the Sun Devil faithful have seen him on the field plenty over the past few years, Pro Football Focus says he needs to improve in his consistency to perform at the next level.

Wren is naturally gifted with great size, explosiveness, and athleticism, but he struggles with consistency. He failed to produce an overall grade above 80.0 once in the last three years of his Arizona State career.

Wren joins former Paradise Valley quarterback Ryan Finley as Bengals selections.
