Kyler Murray Speaks on Kingsbury and Cardinals

Arizona Sports News online

Kyler Murray accepted the Davey O’Brien award as the nations top quarterback Monday night in Fort Worth, Texas. While at the event Murray spoke with the media about his desire to play for Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury. “Would I love to go play for him(Kingsbury)? Of course, but it’s not my decision”.
The Cardinals hold the number one overall pick in the April draft. Much has been made about the Murray-Kingsbury relationship which dates all the way back to when Kingsbury recruited Murray in high school. Murray had more on the Kingsbury-Cardinals offense. “we kind of run a similar offense at Oklahoma. I don’t think it would be a big adjustment. He’s gonna play fast, play shotgun, throw the ball around, play in space. Me and him have a good relationship, I think he’d let me be me, allow me to do what I do. I think it would be a great thing”. Of course, the Cardinals have Josh Rosen in place. Kingsbury said last week that Rosen is “our guy”.
