A Busy Recruiting Week for Pinnacle’s Tosh Baker

My guy Jason Jewell warned you all: 2020 Pinnacle offensive tackle Tosh Baker’s recruitment was about to blow up a few weeks ago.

Since November 30th, Baker has picked up offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Northwestern and Duke, with the final three coming in the span of 24 hours.

That group of offers adds to Utah, ASU and UCLA for football and UC Santa Barbara, NAU and Cal Poly for basketball.

“This kid had so much intrigue going as far back as his freshman year just based on his size and length,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said.

“Offensive tackles are probably the hardest body types to find, so when have a 6’5″+ frame, you will garner interest. All Tosh needed was film. he put some quality footage out there this year and you have seen the results. He is a big time prospect. His wingspan and feet make him elite.”

And Jewell thinks Baker can grow even more.

“That being said, he is far from a finished product, still needs weight and strength, but that will come with time and hard work.”

The 6-foot-8, 270-pound offensive tackle is also getting it done in the classroom. According to a member of the Pinnacle coaching staff, Baker sports a 4.3 GPA.

As more coaches come to town to check out Baker, don’t expect his recruitment to slow down.
