Wilkins Leaves a Hero

Manny Wilkins willed his team to victory Saturday in Tucson. Many fans of the maroon and gold judge the success of a Sun Devil quarterback by their record against Arizona. Wilkins was 2-1 against Arizona, winning the final two match ups. In three Territorial Cup games he finished with a stat line of 800 passing yards, 7 TDs, 2 Ints, 194 rushing yards, and a 2-1 record.

He showed tremendous fight and grit Saturday, in a game that looked many times like it had gotten away from the Sun Devils. Wilkins leadership in the face of adversity was something to admire.
