For the second straight year, the Perry Pumas will be playing the Chandler Wolves in the 6A state title game with a Purdy under center.
Last year’s team led by Brock Purdy gave the Wolves all they could handle with Chandler winning by seven in a shootout.
This year, Chubba Purdy will take his postseason shot with a strong running game led by Jalen Young. The defense is coming off a standout performance after forcing five turnovers against Pinnacle in their 45-14 semifinal win.
