Central Tight End Casey Clanton Commits to Ohio

Central defensive lineman and tight end Casey Clanton committed to Ohio on Thursday.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound athlete holds offers from Air Force, Hawaii, Kansas, New Mexico State, NAU, UC Davis and UNLV.

“Love Clanton’s versatility,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said. “his frame and athletic ability could lead to him playing a number positions including tight end and defendive end, but he could even grow into a defensive tackle like his father, who played at Nebraska, or I could even see him getting big enough to play offensive tackle.”

Clanton joins the Kwete brothers, Cosmas and Eloi, as Central players to commit this recruiting cycle. Cosmas committed to Washington State and Eloi pledged to Massachusetts last week.
