D-backs’ Bradley catches up with new best friend

On Tuesday, San Tan Ford hosted the Special Olympics Open at TPC Scottsdale to kick off the 2018 Waste Management Open. Special Olympic athletes were paired up with athletes, celebrities and local business leaders in a nine-hole putting contest.

One of the Special Olympian participants, Kevin ‘the Home Run King’ Kesler, got to catch up with his favorite Diamondbacks’ pitcher Archie Bradley at the event.

Kesler caught one of Diamondbacks’ infielder Chris Owings’ home runs during the 2017 season. The home run was hit right over the bullpen where Bradley was sitting, which is how the two became acquainted.

Kesler got to ask Bradley about the upcoming season, the home run catch and more from Tuesday’s action.
