ASU Basketball Lands Top 2021 Recruit

Word was there were plenty of top recruits on hand to watch ASU basketball beat Vanderbilt on Sunday.

The now-third-ranked Devils are already seeing results from that showing.

2021 forward Mike Foster from Milwaukee announced his commitment to the Sun Devils to 247Sports’ Evan Daniels this morning after visiting Tempe.

Foster, who the Sun Devil Source calls a top-ten candidate for the 2021 class, is averaging nearly 11 points per game and 10 rebounds per contest and was offered by ASU four days ago.

He is the first commit of the 2021 class for the Sun Devils.

Daniels said in his article that Arizona State, Purdue, Georgia Tech, UNLV, Bradley, UW-Milwaukee and San Diego State all had expressed interest in the 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward.

The Sun Devil recruiting classes over the next few years shake out as follows:

2018 – four-star point guard Luguentz Dort (signed), four-star point guard Elias Valtonen (signed)

2019 – no commited

2020 – five-star small forward Kyree Walker

2021 – Mike Foster
