Every week during the season NFL Network and NFL.com Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.

Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (November 8th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

What do you make of the Eagles’ crowded backfield? “They sure look good but of course things are always confusing in fantasy football. So, you have LaGarrette Blount, they trade for Jay Ajayi and, of course, Corey Clement leads the team in touches and fantasy points. So that only makes sense, right? I think, down the line, it will Ajayi’s job. He’s going to benefit from playing in an offense with a better offensive line with a quarterback under center like Carson Wentz. So, I don’t know if he’s going to be an RB1, but he’s going to be a high-RB2 and if you look at his schedule, it’s pretty favorable down the stretch.”

How much of a trickle down effect have all the big injuries had in terms of fantasy football as a whole? “You could put together, literally, a Pro Bowl roster reality or fantasy, of all the players who are injured. The Cardinals have suffered two with David Johnson and Carson Palmer, as well. It seems like every team has suffered at least one major injury this season and it’s had a huge effect on fantasy football. Another thing that’s had a big effect on fantasy football is the decline of the wide receiver. Two years ago everyone thought wide receiver was on the rise and it was overtaking running back as the top position in fantasy. Well, if you look at the numbers right now, it has been one of the worst seasons statistically for that position.”

Who is the hottest wide receiver name on the waiver wire this week? “Well, if Marvin Jones is out there, definitely go out and grab him. Just keep in mind that last week’s performance against Green Bay, it’s been a trend for him. He’s dominated at Lambeau Field. So I don’t know if you can expect him to put up those types of numbers week in and week out. Anderson, as you mentioned, is a great play this week against the Buccaneers. Robert Woods in LA, he’s been tremendous. He’s a player who’s been valuable in PPR leagues. Muhammed Sanu. Maybe he hasn’t been as good as Julio Jones but he’s been good. He’s a player who is available on the waiver wire, as well. There are several players out there who can be added and help you right away.”

Is Ryan Fitzpatrick a good quarterback to stream this week? “I would actually say Josh McCown if I had to pick because he has been averaging almost 20 points a game in the last four games and believe it or not, he is almost even with Drew Brees in terms of total points for the season. Nobody expected that. Fitzpatrick is interesting. Number one, he’s got a revenge game. Of course, he could have a revenge game against half the league because he’s played for half of the teams in the league. But, this is a matchup where I wouldn’t be surprised if both quarterbacks gave you right around 18 fantasy points.”
