Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman, Saguaro Head Coach Jason Mohns

Each Wednesday, Haley Stesiak and Jordan Hamm preview the upcoming high school football week. From the biggest games and storylines to hearing from the top leaders and voices in the prep football, the #FridayNight360AZ Preview Show will get you ready for Friday nights.

On This Episode:

Scout.com’s Brandon Huffman on Chandler-IMG Academy

We kick off this week’s episode talking about the Chandler-IMG Academy matchup this Saturday. We heard from IMG’s Kevin Wright a few weeks ago, and these two teams are top-20 powers in the nation and there will be plenty of Division I talent on the field. Scout.com national director of recruiting Brandon Huffman joins the show to talk about how the Wolves match up, who the big players for IMG Academy are and the overall state of Arizona football and recruiting. Plus, Brandon gives his thoughts on the Saguaro-Liberty matchup in Nevada.

Saguaro Head Football Coach Jason Mohns

Chandler isn’t the only one playing a big-time out of state power this week. The Saguaro Sabercats head up to Henderson, NV to take on Liberty, who was the Nevada state runner-up last year. Saguaro head coach Jason Mohns stops by to talk about the logistics of moving an entire team out of state during the season, why the Sabercats have been trying to play as much out of state talent as possible, and who they could play in the future. Plus, Coach Mohns drops a hint that Saguaro is looking to move up from the 4A division and other potential scheduling options in the future.

Week 1 Game Previews

In the final segment, Haley and Jordan preview the following games:

Williams Field at Deer Valley
Pinnacle at Basha
Shadow Mountain at Canyon del Oro
Camelback at North
Horizon at Chaparral
