Suns to Select Fourth in 2016 NBA Draft

The 2016 NBA Draft has been set and the ping pong balls read that the Phoenix Suns will select fourth overall in the first round. They also will pick 13th in the first round after acquiring the pick from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Markieff Morris. The Suns will also pick 28th in the first round which comes the the Suns which was originally owned by the Cavs then Celtics.

There are many directions that the Draft can go after the first two which expects to see Ben Simmons from LSU and Brandon Ingram from Duke come off the board. The next two college players many believe is Providence point guard Kris Dunn and Kentucky combo guard Jamal Murray. However, the Suns are already loaded in that spot with Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and last year’s first round pick, Devin Booker. The top international player is Dragan Bender who is a seven foot power forward who can stretch the floor from Croatia.

Next comes a fun few weeks of workouts that will see many high profile picks come though Phoenix with the team selecting three times in the first round.

Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough gave his initial reactions to selecting three times in the top 34 on Tuesday evening.
