Kochevar Eager to Defend Patriot All-American Invitational Title

2014 finished on a huge high note for Kyle Kochevar.

A junior from the University of Virginia who shot 2-under 68 in the final round to come from behind to win the 2014 Patriot All-America Invitational, a 54-hole event was played on the Gold Course at The Wigwam in Litchfield Park, Az. Kochevar finished the tournament at 1-under and outlasted University of Arizona freshman, George Cunningham in a two-hole playoff.

At the Patriot All-America Invitational, each player honors our military by carrying a bag with the name, rank and service of a fallen or severely wounded soldier embroidered on the pocket. Following the championship, each of the bags go to the players’ school for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Folds of Honor. The 2015 event tees off once again at the Wigwam on Tuesday.
