Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer (3) and head coach Bruce Arians celebrate late in the Cardinlals 31-19 win over the New Orleans Saints in their NFL game Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 in Glendale, Ariz.

Not much positive to say about the Cardinals 19-13 win Sunday at San Francisco. The bottom line is they added another W to their season record and that’s all that matters.
There are going to be weeks during the course of a 16-game schedule where a team is going to face adversity and have to find a way to win a game when they aren’t at their best. Sunday was clearly that day for Arizona.
For much of the afternoon it was hard to tell which team was leading the NFC West. The Cardinals potent offense was minus Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington and out of sync.
The flags were flying fast and furious on Sunday too. The 49ers weren’t the beneficiary of many of the officials calls and the Cardinals were, especially late. Here are a couple of numbers to remember from todays win.

-Cardinals ran for only 72 yards, averaging 2.5yds per carry.
-49ers had 13 penalties for 81 yards, including a couple late in the game on the Cardinals game winning drive.
-49ers were 0-9 on 3rd down conversions.
-49ers had more total offensive yards than Arizona. 368-337.

Next up for the Cardinals, on the road at St. Louis next Sunday. The Rams won the matchup earlier this season when the two teams met in Glendale.
