It was a good vibe last night at Mesa CC for the ABCA All-Star
Underclassmen Boys game. BYU commit Jake Toolson, Mtn. View power forward Payton Dastrup, and Player of the Year Casey Benson all on the white team, while the black team had ASU commit Kodi Justice, Gilbert CHristians Roberto Reyes, along with explosive Desert Mtn. point guard Rolando Rhymes. The final score didn’t matter much(109-93 for the black team) What was clear to me watching these Juniors in person is how deep the 2014 basketball class is going to be. Reyes scored
22 points and showed great range. Benson led the white team in scoring with 20. If you’re a fan of basketball, it will be worth your while to check out these kids in action in the next year.
