Reigning WM Open Champion using new Nike driver

Everyone is looking for an edge on the golf course that helps take your game to the next level. Well how about a driver that fits you rather than you having to fit it?

On February 8th, Nike Golf is releasing the new Covert driver which is being used by players out at the Waste Management Phoenix Open this week. One player in particular is the 2012 champion, Kyle Stanley.

The driver itself exhibits new technology that is never before seen on the golf course. There is a cavity back which is primarily seen in irons. There is also nexcore technology on the face of the club that makes for a much more forgiving golf shot in case the ball is not struck right in the middle of the club.

But quite possibly the most unique part of this club, it can fit you. The head of the driver can be unscrewed so that you can adjust the loft angle of the driver to create more loft and also make the club face more closed to take away the left to right spin and make the ball fly straighter.

The new Nike Covert driver is one of the many new items that Nike is displaying this week during the Waste Management Phoenix Open. If you like what you see from Kyle Stanley or any other Tour players on the Nike team, you can head over to Kierland Golf Club this week and be fitted for your own. The set up on the practice tee at Kierland uses launch monitor technology which is state of the art.
