Bolden, Robinson and Burfict on display at ASU Pro Day

slider asuOn Friday, Arizona State had its annual Pro Day session at Sun Devil Stadium. Among the participants were Omar Bolden, Gerell Robinson and Vontaze Burfict.

Plenty of NFL eyes were in attendance, including Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton.

Burfict said he weighed in at 249 pounds, but would like to be at 245 pounds by the time his next pro workout comes around, which will be on March 30.

Burfict says his inner circle has been giving him all the motivation he needs to show teams what he’s capable of.

“I just have a lot of positive people around me that are pushing me to eat right, doing things right, that I don’t want to do of course,” said Burfict. “People around me are just pushing me to do the right things.”

Robinson thought he did well in front of the NFL scouts and coaches.

“I felt like I did pretty good in my routes,” Robinson said. “I had a little more time to work on my conventional routes, and definitely thought I did pretty good.”

Bolden looked very sharp overall, and showed no ill effects from the knee injuries that have plagued him in the past.

“It felt good,” Bolden said. “I love competing, love playing football, so it’s good to get back out here and compete and play with my guys one last time.”

Bolden said he is “100% healthy,” and ready for whatever the future brings.

Brock Osweiler was at the session, but didn’t workout. He will take part in the March 30 Pro Day event.

Former ASU offensive coordinator, and current UCLA OC Noel Mazzone will oversee those proceedings.
